September is here! This means a few things for the days ahead in my photo life. First, wedding season in the Pacific Northwest is drawing to a close. It's been an awesome Summer in the Oregon and Washington wedding world. When all is said and done, I'll have covered over 30 weddings this year as a freelancer for various studios. Congrats to all of the newlyweds out there, married life rules when you've found your match! The Fall season approaching also means I'll be listening to football games while editing photos on Sundays instead of music. As I'm growing older, I'm discovering I can't sit through many full three hour football events any more. Have you ever noticed how many fuckin' commercials they cram into your average NFL contest? No matter what, I still love listening to the games. Commercials aren't as shitty and you can still get stuff done without missing the season. And there's something calming about the oohs and aahs roaring from a crowd over the course of any large sporting event. Do yourself a favor and listen to a future football broadcast over AM radio waves instead of watching it. You may be surprised at how much you like it once you realize you don't have to watch Cialis ads all day. You may also be surprised at how much you like visiting Hogs and Heifers Saloon during Las Vegas BikeFest. You see, this is where the end of September brings me year after year. All roads lead back to H&H in Vegas! With the countdown to this year's bike celebration in Sin City well under way, it's time to reflect on what the fuck you missed last year... don't miss the party this year, it will be bigger and louder than ever! September 28th 2016 is when it all starts again #HogsLife
I'll be posting images from Hogs & Heifers Saloon and Las Vegas BikeFest all month... follow the journey
My name is Cameron Smith, this is my photography studio and farm! We specialize in events, portraits, cocktails and dive bars.. Based in the ATL with frequent trips to Las Vegas and Portland Oregon, we like to city hop. Design, writing, are more things we do on the farm. From blogs to photo books, and below average art that consists mostly of ink drawings, we're creative folks. We're also crazy enough to be house photographers with Hogs & Heifers Saloon in Vegas AND Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans....We see some crazy shit! When not taking pictures of said crazy things, or planning a wedding celebration on a future ranch, you can find us in our garden with the dogs and cats.
Living the green life in East Atlanta for now, Smith Farm in Northern Georgia the future??
