Ever since the end of this year's Rally on the River, I've been in deep thought about how to get the full Hogs story up about the event. As usual per any of my H&H coverage, the crazy train was on full fuckin' throttle for last week's rally.
Let me throw this out there... It takes months of work, man/woman hours, and dedication to put on a satellite event like Hogs and Heifers at the Laughlin River Run. Imagine throwing a four day concert that last over 12 hours each day. But instead of dealing with arguing band members and sound checks, you have a staff of 30 bartenders who are fueled by rowdy crowds, a little whiskey, and parties getting wild. Yeah, shit can get hairy really quick. But that's why the Hogs Road Show is fun as fuck! You never know what you're going to experience when your hangin' with the world famous bartenders of Hogs & Heifers Saloon. Whether you're in Laughlin or back home with the crew in Vegas, what you see is what you get. If you don't like it, there's the fuckin door. And that's the Hogs way. Remember when rock was loud and people didn't start crying when we used the word fuck? To be continued...
This is my Hogs family.
These are the 99%.
Perhaps my blog will drift to some who won't be able to look through the piercings or tattoos and see the good in these folks. Or get past the brash language (insert audio clip that says fuck you here) that all these fuckers use. But beneath the vulgarities, this dive bar full of deplorables are real fuckin' people. People that have families and would do anything for them. People that are active/retired military, and would die for this country. People that love America more than any shit-bird politician in office.
Honored to be a part of this family #hogslife
My name is Cameron Smith, welcome to my studio. I specialize in portrait photography, event coverage, and some say I have a thing for dive bars and cocktails.. Based in Atlanta with frequent trips to Las Vegas and Portland Oregon, I love to travel. Design and writing skills are some of the extra services I can bust out with my camera. From blogs to photo books, and below average art that consists mostly of ink drawings, I'm considered by my Mom to be an artist - whatever my Mom says goes! I'm also lucky enough to be the in-house photographer with Hogs & Heifers Saloon in Las Vegas, I've taken pictures of some wild shit! When not taking pictures of said crazy things, or planning a wedding celebration on my future ranch, you can find me in my garden with my wife and pets.
Living the green life in East Atlanta for now with big farm dreams on the horizon!
