Hogs, weddings and Vegas

I've been the house photographer for Hogs and Heifers in Las Vegas since their opening back in 2005.  Hogs is a crazy bar that's hard to put into words.  It's definitely worth a visit if your ever making the trip to Sin City.  A daily tradition includes bartendars dancing on top of the bar with female patrons always being invited to join.  Dancing on the bar is for FEMALES ONLY...  NO MEN ALLOWED!

Over the years, I've seen my share of drunken tourists being kindly escorted out of the establishment for trying to participate in the bar dancing tradtion.  With this being said, I've always thought it would be bad ass to get a bride and groom on the bar top for a unique and one of a kind picture.  Being back in Vegas this past weekend for a friend's wedding provided me with a chance.

After a great ceremony and reception in downtown Las Vegas, the after hours wedding group made Hogs and Heifers it's first stop on the late night tour.  With a little help from tequila and other wedding drinks, I kindly asked the very large bouncer if we could take a pic or two with the newlyweds on the bar.  He thought about it and luckily said yes, only on one condition.  His exact words were, "If any other guys get on the bar, I'm going to punch you in the face".

Sacrificing my awesome and never been broken nose, we took the picture and captured a pretty cool shot!
