I'm a huge fan of trying new products that are emerging in the growing THC beverage world. I was extremely excited when I heard Snapdragon was developing a cannabis based spirit. Along with canned THC drinks, cannabis spirits are gaining popularity, especially with younger crowds that continue to look for alternatives to alcohol when going out. If consumers demand these kinds of alcohol-free drinks, there's no reason why cannabis spirits can't exist side-by-side with liquor bottles in every bar in the country! Snapdragon and Riverside Beverage Co. are behind a lot of the THC drink options one can find in Chattanooga and the rest of Tennessee, so I feel extremely lucky to be helping them with branding photography, especially for new products like this. Everything from the drink flavor profiles, the design of the labels, bottling, all done by Snapdragon in Chattanooga! Who would have thought that some of the WORLD'S BEST Cannabis products were being created and legally for sale in Tennessee!? Now it's time to give you what you've all been waiting for... What does this stuff taste like? Well, I'll be honest. When I do shots of tequila, vodka, gin, I usually make a face, that bitter drink face. The tastes stronger liquors hits quick, usually causing one to make some sort of grimace face. Most of the time a shot of liquor straight out of the bottle does not taste good and can be too strong. I was expecting something similar for a cannabis based spirit, but this THC drink from Snapdragon is way easier to shoot than stronger liquor options. Notes of cannabis hit your tongue on the front end of the drink, and then there is a touch of sweetness on the back end. All in all, not too strong, and not too sweet! With its' milder taste, consumers should be able to find a ton of ways to make mocktails with the new product. Thumbs way up for me on this one!! As an experienced cannabis consumer and enthusiast, be careful with this release if you're a newbie. 300mg of D9 THC in a 750ml bottle is a very strong product. Canned D9 drinks are usually energetic for me, I found this spirit to be a touch on the sleepier side. Mannn this stuff would be perfect for a relaxing trip to the beach!!
