My wife Melissa and I were planning our move from Las Vegas to Portland, Oregon for over a year.  With such a big change ahead of us it was good to know that we already had great friends living in the Portland area.  Enter the Baker family...

Damien and Rebekka Baker have been married for over four years.  Melissa has been friends with Rebekka since their college days at the University of Albany in New York.  That friendship continued to grow when Bekka moved out West and joined us in the Vegas Valley.

On what seemed to be a typical Vegas night out after work, Melissa spotted a handsome dude wearing a Dave Mathews Band t-shirt at the casino bar.  Knowing that her single friend Rebecca loves Dave, maybe this could be the man of her dreams?  Being the perfect match maker, my wife was right and the rest is history. 

Now that we've been reunited in Portland, it was only natural for me to take over the family photographer role and start taking some cool pics of the Bakers.  Since their two year old son Elias is a ham, the shoot was a breeze and we captured some awesome shots in one of our local parks.
