I've been a fan of Jagermeister for over 10 years.  I dabbled in a shot or two in college but didn't hit my true Jager stride until I moved to Las Vegas in '99 and met a guy named Michael "The Dude" Goida.  When your nickname has the words The and Dude in it, you know you're pretty cool.  The Dude still lives in Vegas and he still loves drinking the dark matter.  To this day, I've never met or seen anyone that likes the Jager as much as him.  He drinks it like water and when hanging out with him, your expected to do the same...

Long live the Dude! 

On opening day at this year's Tales of the Cocktail I was invited to photograph a Jager pool party.  I couldn't believe I was actually getting paid to take pictures of people ripping Jagers.  The Dude would be proud. 

When I initially heard the words Jagermeister and pool party in the same sentence, having had many fuzzy Jager nights in my past, I wondered how this type of party could possibly end.  To my surprise, the party people actually maintained themselves and the event ended without any patrons being carted off to the emergency room...

Until we meet again Mr. Jager!
