In 2005 I was living in Las Vegas and just signed on to feature some of my photography at a local art show.  Vegas isn't exactly known for it's artsy side, but it did and still does have a monthly First Friday art gathering that's always a good scene.

This specific art show was celebrating 100 years of Las Vegas with 100 local artists.  Cool theme and cool party!  Lucky me to be picked to participate and extra lucky for me to meet Michelle Dell while showing off some of my Vegas photo work.  Michelle was new to the strip and getting ready to open up a bar in downtown Vegas.  She liked my work and bought some framed pics.  Her new bar, Hogs and Heifers Saloon, needed a photographer and I was just the man for the job!

Seven years later, we're still drinking and taking great pictures... Cheers to Hogs & Heifers Las Vegas and lucky number 7!
