For my final act of getting paid to drink at various places around PDX, I bring you the Portland Cocktail Week Bar Challenge!

This event is legit.  Four groups of bartenders build a pub from concept to opening.  Sounds easy but catch is you only have 12 hours to do it!  And the funny thing is all of these bar dreams ended up with a better look and concept than every watering hole within a mile of my house.  For all of you local entrepreneurs out there, Denver Street in the Kenton Neighborhood needs a cocktail pit.  I do love the Kenton Club for music and an occasional jager, but it smells funny in there sometimes.
