Eagle Creek - Punchbowl FallsWe heard and read a few good reviews about Eagle Creak. It's considered one of the more famous trails in the Gorge. Unfortunately most of the jaw dropping sites are over five miles deep into the hike. Since we weren't prepared for a longer walk, we scaled back and took the shorter Punchbowl loop. Even though the quick track isn't as highly touted as the rest of the trail, it was still an amazing trip. If your afraid of heights, this one isn't for you. There's an area of super steep drop offs that's pretty intense. Make sure to leash up the hounds! Coming up in a future blog will be the rest of the hike... We can't wait to go back!
