The Mississippi Street Fair is touted as being the largest one in Portland.  With booths stretching for blocks and people everywhere, I definitely believe it.  If you wanted something cool made in Oregon, just about anything, you could find it here.  

A couple of local street artists were live screen printing and offered up prints on anything you showed up with.  I brought a pair of my wife's underwear to make things interesting.  The artist said this was his first print of the day on used panties...  That's art!
