Ever seen the movie Boyhood?  It's pretty f*ckin' rad.  The story follows a young lad from childhood to the start of college.  The unpredictable and sometimes awkward years of growing up.  The same actors are used throughout the movie meaning that everyone involved in the project was a part of it for over 10 years.  That's cool... think about.  When's the last time you worked on something creatively for 10 years?  

Hogs and Heifers Saloon in Las Vegas has now officially been open for over 10 years.  I luckily met the owner of Hogs and Heifers during an art show awhile back.  She bought a couple of my pictures and invited me to photograph the soft opening of her new Vegas bar.  Hogs already had a New York location but I knew nothing about it, so I was excited to be a part of something new and unique.  And unique it was!  Never before have I covered parties in a place like this and I'll never work with someone quite like Michelle.  Shots up on inviting me to document the crazy growing up years of your Vegas saloon.  Our version of Boyhood would rock..  Happy 10th!
