Since moving to Portland Widmer Brothers has been one of our favorite breweries.  They've been serving up good beers for over 30 years and can easily be considered one of the elites in the growing field of craft breweries.

Cathy has been a friend of ours since the Vegas days.  We all moved up to the the Northwest at a similar time.  She's been working with Widmer for a few years and let us in on a dirty little secret, they pay their employees in beer!  Yesss!!  Well they also pay with some Benjamins but after we heard this fact we thought a beer bonus every week would help us get inspired, please tell that to our boss...  Hey that's ourselves!  Note to us, we will work harder for free beer...

The Craft Brewers Conference was in town last week and Widmer was everywhere.  Cathy invited us down to their 30 for 30 party and we're not talking sports here...  30 Beers for 30 Years!  This event was a celebration of their long history.  Which was all about beer obviously... Our kind of gathering!

Party space provided by The White Owl Social Club...  Which by the way is an awesome bar :)
