Lush Life is the group behind Portland Cocktail Week.  I've been lucky enough to participate and cover this local event over the last few years.  Along with Cocktail Week, they host a variety of unique boozy events from coast to coast.  Last week they brought in a couple master distillers from The Appleton Rum Estate to discuss what makes Jamaican Rum so great.  It's not everyday you get to taste 12 year old blends of the world's finest rum before lunch.  Thumbs way up for this event and many thanks to Lush Life for inviting me down to capture some goods...
