When I was a sophomore in college, I wanted to be a DJ.  Nothing major, just a few side gigs for fun at the local dive bar scene.  You know my nothin' but Wu Wednesdays would've been the shit and then from there, drinks on the house to me for bringing in larger crowds!  Free beer and loud music, what more could a college kid want?  I had a Summer job in Alaska just before my junior year.  The plan was to save up enough money so upon my return from my the great Northwest, I could buy my first round of gear.  Unfortunately, after three months in Anchorage I didn't bring home the bank roles I thought I would.  What I did bring home was enough cash where I didn't have to work for a semester, and that was fun!  Since I wasn't going to pursue my record spinning dreams anymore, I settled on some film photography classes, and the rest is history!  15 years later you can still find me taking pictures and one can easily peel me away from my North Portland studio to cover just about anything.  How about some Habit Forming Sessions with Jamie Meushaw and Kyle Moys at Whiskey Bar in Downtown Portland?  I'm in!  I was definitely feeling the energy in the room while snapping my images this past Saturday.  Is it toolate for me to become a DJ? Maybe turn up your stereo and start head bobbin before you continue with this set!!
