Wherever you find a growing industry, a convention style event about the ins and outs of that industry is bound to be close by.  Cocktails anyone?  If you like slinging drinks and the art  mixing booze, go to any one of the many growing Tales of the Cocktail gatherings.  Their yearly summer trade-show in New Orleans draws tens of thousands of people from around the world.  Ever heard of the Brewers Craft Association? Plan on attending one of their annual events if you want to learn from the best about the brewing industry.  Now that pot is legal in over 20 states via the medical or recreational way, you know there's going to be people getting together and talking about the ways of the hemp plant.  Enter the Cannabis Collaborative Conference held at the Expo Center in North Portland, one of a growing number of pro-weed conferences held in the Pacific Northwest.  If you're one of the many entrepreneurs looking to cash-in on Oregon and Washington's thriving cannabis scene, this was the place to be last week.  No smoking buds here, strictly business for everyone.  Some of these booths looked liked they belonged in a chemistry lab!  Thank you High 5 Tours for inviting me down to to snap pictures of your cannaBUS in its' first event.  I want to say cheers to y'all but I feel like that's for the drinking crowd,  raise your joints maybe?
