I've been lucky enough to photograph dozens of musicians and live shows as a freelance photo guy.  My buddy Paul at Merc Photography is getting requested to hit the road more often for his work.  Sure his family misses him while he's gone, but I usually get the option to pick up his local Portland gigs when he's out and about.  This is rad, I love shooting events with live music.  Even if the music sucks, concerts are still fun.  People watching by itself is almost worth the price if admission.  And when your taking the pictures, there is no price of admission!  Here's a quick highlight roll of some recent music snaps while freelancing from the great state of Oregon... yeah for live shows!
