Back in my high school and college years, 420 was kind of an underground thing.  Sure the hippies and potheads new the code, but if you asked most older folks and main streamers what the significance of 420 was, you would draw mostly blank faces.  Now those numbers, pronounced four twenty, are everywhere.  And the day April 20th is celebrated annually by millions across the country.  

So what are tokers doing nowadays on this national marijuana holiday?  With the varying degrees of cannabis legality across the country, I'm sure there was a mixture of activities going on.  But mostly, I think a large amount of people simply smoked weed and got high at some point.  Outside of that, festivals, concerts, and parties celebrating the magic herb could be found in every state, especially the ones where recreational flower is now legal.  Here in Portland Oregon, the biggest buzz on the weed circuit was the discounts local shops were offering.  If there was ever a day to buy a little bud and save a buck, this was it!

High 5 Tours was cruising around PDX the entire day starting with the annual wake a bake breakfast at Portland's Hunnymilk.  Is there a better way to get your day going?  I arrived a little later in the afternoon for the tour's first dispensary stop...  come alongggg
