Tales of the Cocktail 2016 - Absolut Welcome ReceptionTales of the Cocktail is a booze fueled, week long event held annually in the great city of New Orleans. I've been lucky enough to photograph this party for the past six years and feel blessed to be invited back every Summer to be a part of it. The 2016 version did not disappoint. Events large and small were held all over town, and hoards of bartenders and cocktail fans flocked to each one of them. The Absolut Welcome Reception at the Ace Hotel was a high energy way to get the week going. Ace is a newer hotel in downtown New Orleans and is full of unique rooms and spaces. The crew at Absolute did an awesome job filling each area with visually interesting elements, lights, and a handful of the world's craftiest bartenders. Healthy servings of tasty liquor laced drinks were at every turn, time to cause a stir!
