So I know what you're thinking. How can there be a cannabis festival in a city like Chattanooga... ya know a place where it's considered illegal to smoke the weed? As a 10 year resident of Greater Chattanooga and someone who traveled to Atlanta every month to by grass from a plug, I once thought the same. Having lived in Portland Oregon and Las Vegas, it sucks buying weed from a "dealer", but fear not! Snapdragon Cannabis Co. is real and legally exist in the eyes of the 2018 Farmers Bill. Once I discovered their drink and flower lineup, no need for road trips to the ATL anymore!

Snapfest 2025 was one of the better events I went to in Chatt last year and can't wait to go back this year! Remember stoners, 420, 4.20.26 is on a Tuesday this year... Snapfest 420 '26 IS ON SATURDAY APRIL 18TH FROM 12-9PM AND FEATURES LIVE MUSIC, FOOD TRUCKS, AND FUN VENDORS!

Welcome to Snapdragon Hemp, your premier cannabis destination based in the heart of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Why Did We Start?

Snapdragon Hemp began in 2016 as a small-scale effort to provide effective relief through cannabis, be it pain, insomnia, anxiety, or other issues. Starting with local farmers markets and other events, Snapdragon’s business quickly evolved with the passage of the 2018 Agricultural Farm Bill, also known as the “Farm Bill.” This new law removed hemp from the federal list of controlled substances, and allowed our business to grow beyond the local farmers market and into our first store!

The Next Steps

The next step was to put those products into the consumer’s hands. Online sales were first. However, it was a very competitive market with so many others trying to get into the business as well. Most of the other companies were filled with multi-level marketing platforms. However, they were selling subpar products at a cost that the average person could not afford. Showing the value of potent yet still federally-legal cannabis products at a fair price as well as education on each product turned out to be the most important factor in the growing CBD and hemp industry.

Where we are today

Since starting, we have expanded into ten brick & mortar stores across the Chattanooga area, along with a diverse online selection of premium goods we can ship nationwide. We especially pride ourselves on our cannabis knowledge, which we use to give our guests a personalized experience every time, and offer customized recommendations that are sure to hit the mark.
