Nothing like hangin' with the young kids on New Year's Eve to make you feel a little older.  I used to love and get my party on ringing in the new year but now I'm only excited that we're inching closer to planting something in the garden.  Pees can go in the ground early February so we're right around the corner y'all...  Cheers to the longer days and shorter nights that lie ahead! 

In any event, I still like taking pictures of parties and year-end events are always some of the best.  It was good to get out and about in downtown Portland to see that thousands of people where hitting the streets to get their groove on.  The Barrel Room had a good scene going including dueling pianos in their indoor space and a DJ/drummer duo mixing old and new beats in the outdoor tent.  The place was packed and folks were definitely feeling the New Year's vibe.
