Ryan and Meg are getting married this January in a quaint little town just west of Portland.  I'm looking forward to covering their event as the small town setting mixed in with a cool wedding venue will make for an awesome day of photography.  With the weather pretending to get warmer in Portland, it was time to get out in the 'hood and take some engagement photos. 

We planned the session in and around their neighborhood.  They live just off of NE Alberta Street which is one of the more colorful parts of town.  The sun stayed out for the entire shoot and we found some unique areas to take pics.  Many thanks to the cameo provided by Larry the skateboarder... For those interested in exploring Alberta Street and seeing Portlandia at it's finest, mark the Last Thursday of every month off your calendar.  This festival brings out the best in local art, food,music and street performers.  You see a little bit of everything and the people watching alone is worth the trip : o )
